Hello, so I'm new...

Discussion in 'Welcome Lounge' started by Kimberley, Mar 8, 2014.

  1. Hey everyone,

My name is Kimberley, I'm a 22-year-old student from Penrith NSW.

I've been riding since August 2013, I'm on my Leaner license still, although I rode a scooter for a year before switching to bikes. I ride a CB125E because I am so short, and because when I started out riding I got really anxious all the time, and sometimes I still do, heh. I basically use my bike for commuting, and the occasional joy ride.

But generally I'm interested in bikes and I like learning about them. I still have so much to learn but I hope I can fit in here :)
  2. Hey Kimberly welcome to NR, I'm sure you'll fit in fine. The 125 is a great little bike for those who are vertically challenged.
  3. Knock, knock...........

    Who's there..........?

    Uncle Greg --> Hunting @OP.
  4. Welcome Kimberley.
  5. Welcome to nr
  6. Welcome, if you're on your Ls still. Pop over to the Learners practice group at Homebush.
Madazz is near you, she escorts the nervous to the group on occasion.
  7. welcome to NR Kimberley
  8. Welcome to NR :)

  9. Welcome Kimberly !!!
  10. Thank you for the welcome messages!

Temperature-wise: no. Appearance-wise: depends. I don't think my face is symmetrical so apparently my face will be easier to remember!

I'm confused...but nice to meet you

Thanks, that's good to know :)

  12. Hey Kimberley, welcome to NR
  13. welcome Kimberly ;-)
  14. Welcome. Don't pop up here at the moment. Fuel's too dear and there are cyclones lurking.
  15. I think I will at some point, I have to go for my Ps no later than September and I want to be ready.

I've been to QLD before, just not that far up, thanks for the warning though haha :D
  16. Once Uncle Greg shows up I assure you the confusion will cease.

Anywho - welcome aboard, lots of good people around.......

  17. Hi kimberly! I'm short too. I have to use my tippie-toes when I'm sitting on my GPX250.
These tall people just don't understand our plight...
  18. How much I would kill to be taller...I even had my seat shaved. So many nice bikes...not midget friendly :-/
  19. Tallies should be made shorter. We're perfect :p Do you feel much difference with the seat shaved? How much did it cost you? I don't need to do it for my current bike but when i go full licenced I'll want to upgrade to a bigger one.
