  1. Hi all,
I've been a long time reader of NR forums. I am in the process of getting my overseas licence converted. Will look for a bike once the licence is done.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello.

  9. phil01, I'm from India.
spenaroo, I'm hoping it goes well too. In any case, after not riding for 5+ years, I am looking to get a LAMS bike for the first couple of years.
    Will keep you guys posted.
  10. Welcome to NR. (y) You're in the right place and right state.

As you've heard - Victoria: The place to be. :p

I'm from Wantirna South - not far from you. I made the mistake of not converting my overseas license many years ago and had to redo the bike license from scratch but that's ok. Better late then never, hey!

  13. Good news then!

What bike/s do you have in mind? Keep us posted.
  14. Perhaps that Brighton Kawasaki auction is something you should look into mate
  15. At the moment I have short listed ninja 250, cbr250r or gs500f :)

Will look into the Brighton Kawa auction :)
  16. A suggestion, if I may. Try not to go for the 250's. If you're buying new, try a minimum of 500.

Reason: you will grow out of the 250 very quickly.

  17. Thanks LL. I am thinking of getting secondhand for a year or so before I move to something bigger or go for gs500 and not change for a while
  18. Hmm.. Both options are ok but if I was you, I would go for the second one.

I had similar intentions but I bit the bullet and got the V-Star 650 Custom new. That was an year ago and am glad that I chose that option.
  19. Ok will keep that in mind and keep looking for something bigger
  20. Hi and welcome to NR
