  1. Hi Guys,

Thought I would say hi and introduce myself. I am from the Glen Iris area, mid thirties and have been riding a number of years.

Have a few bikes but my recent purchase has been the KTM RC8.

Will be nice to say hi to some of you in the future and look forward to seeing you on the road and track.

  2. Welcome to Netrider Justin :)
  3. hi and welcome justin to the mad house, how does the rc8 go and handle like had a bit of a read about it in the mags but havnt looked up cloose at it
  4. Hi T, thanks.

The RC8 is pretty much a handful. It certianly looks better in the flesh than the mags.
It handles just like a massive v-twin should. But it can bite. I have only done the basic run in, so have not had it up to the 10,000 rpm limit (saving that for a track day soon).
Around town you have to use the clutch everywhere to smooth out the power delivery.
She is very quick off the line.
Still getting to really know her ;)
  5. Nice.

good to see something different (even if I do have a honda)

heard a superduke go pass one day. It was LOUD
  6. Hi and welcome.
