Heathcote preperation

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' at netrider.net.au started by deafwish, Mar 7, 2006.

  1. Good Morning, all!
What specific preperation is required to take a bike to the Heathcote drags (indicator removal, taping headlight, tyre pressures etc...)?
Are full leathers required to be worn (I know it's ideal....)?

    Cheers all!

    Daz.

  2. Cool.
I highly doubt my little Hornet 600 will be anywhere near those times!
    Thanks for the advice.

  3. Although the chances of getting hurt (or even falling off) are pretty slim as there's not fixed objects to head butt, except for side swiping the concrete walls, considering the speeds you might get up to you'd be silly not to be wearing full protective gear do any form of competitive racing/riding.

  5. Should wear leathers and a back protector's probably a good investment too.
