Handlebar modification

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by ursus, Apr 24, 2012.

  1. I need to modify the handlebar on my V-Star. Could someone recommend a workshop in Sydney that could do that?

  2. Why do you need to modify the bars?

  3. To improve the posture: to move them up and back.

I've got the 4 inch Baron risers on my Classic. Stock cables, but I routed the clutch cable behind the bars instead of in front.

  7. Doh, engage brain before typing - the cable was routed behind the top of the forks rather than in front of them. Not the bars.

  9. Under the product description there is a line saying "Important: SEE FITMENT DETAILS!", so click on that to see if your bike is in the list. It may also contain other information about what things you made need to have the item fit.
