Handlebar front wheel misalignment

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by hamzie, May 31, 2014.

  1. hey guys
new to the forum, new rider

had my first fall the other day and ive noticed the handle bar and front wheel are slightly out of alignment.
Ive heard the fix is easy.. just unscrew the triple clamps.. and make them align again.

Problem is im not too sure what the triple clamps are :p

VTR 250.. not sure what im unscrewing

    Any tip?
    Thanks guys
  2. If you've had a fall and you are new to bikes I would ask a mechanic to look over it.

  3. If you don't know what a triple clamp is, you don't have enough knowledge to align your forks. Take it to a motorcycle workshop.
  4. here you go a whole range of nipple clamps

Oh wait you meant triple clamps my bad

  9. Google

Once you've sorted that. Loosen them. Give front end a good bounce. Check all is straight. Tighten.
