gutting speedmaster pipes

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by stumpy, Oct 19, 2008.

  1. i have a new triumph speedmaster with fuel injection was wondering if gutting the pipes will have any effect on performance i have a mate with an earlier speedmaster who had to re jet his carbies after doing the same

  2. Talk to a Triumph dealer. I wouldn't be suprised if they had a map specifically for that.

Mind you gutting the muffler may not have enough effect to require it anyway
