  1. ok. while on the bike hunt stumbled across 1 of these (gsxr400)
    1985 model 40000km road registered good cond. $2500.

    I realise there aren't a lot of them around as I think they are an import.

    What are they like (looks/performance/reliability) does this price sound reasonable ?

  3. My husband had one of these and when I started riding we bought it back for me.

    I'm only 5'3", but could manage it ok. After riding later model bikes, this would seem like a tank to me know :LOL:

    I actually quite liked it, it handled well and had some grunt.

    You're right though, you don't see many around.
  4. good price for a 400... but you might as well spend a bit more and get a VFR400... much better bike
  5. 40,000km in 20 yrs = 2000km/yr hmmmm
    140,000km in 20 yrs = 7000km/yr a little more plausible I would think
    240,000km in 20 yrs = 12,000km/yr, probably dead by that stage!
