grime remover

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by cats, Nov 19, 2005.

  1. anyone had any good experiances with a good engine grime remover ... whats on the market these days that works

  2. Good old fashioned kero works as good as anything, and it's dirt cheap. Get one of those stiff brushes made for cleaning car mag wheels, and just work the kero in good and hose it off with hot water.
  3. Cheap aerosol cans of degreaser from any of the large auto stores also work well - spray on, hose off.
  4. Kero gets another vote from me. Otherwise you can get get some biodegrateable degreaser dirt cheap from the warehouse (and nearly as cheap from supercheap auto) that works quite well. There is something to be said also for WD-40 and a rag if you have the rquired number of old rags inthe house. :)
  5. Kero is good and Selley's degreaser is the best aerosol we have found, black can. Just make sure you wash it off well.
  6. Easy Off Bam  :p
