Yes I am an old feller, but I can still blow the pants off a lot of the young folk. I started off way before electricity (well almost) with an XL250 Honda (which I rode from Brisbane to Melbourne and back, seemed like a good idea at the time, but believe me I must have been mental to even consider it) then progressing to the first of the CB400 Four's (a great bike that generated my thirst for more power) then a K2 750 Honda with an 810 big bore kit (Did Brisbane to Darwin and back on this beast). I dabbled with a 750 Katana and this was my last Japanese bike for a long, long time. A friend of my bought a Ducati and let me have a ride and that was that. I started with an 860 GT, then an 860 GTS and my personal favourite the MK2 Mike Hailwood Replica. When I turned 50 I thought my fanging days were over and so I bought the obligatory Harley (Softail Deuce). A great bike but boring as bat droppings, it lasted all of 11 months and the replacement was the first of my Bandits. I currently own a 2010 GSX1250FA which is getting a little long in the tooth but still a lot of fun to ride. Not sure what next, maybe a 1000 Ninja or a replacement Suzuki (GSX-S1000F), what I do know is at 59 years old I am still not old enough for a Harley!
