GPX250 Carb Fuel Level Check

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' at netrider.net.au started by Operator, Sep 13, 2012.

  1. Can anyone tell me how to check the fuel level in a GPX250? I know this a really obvious one, the manual says I need a float level guage. I don't see the relevance of a clear piece of tube, so anyone know do you need the guage.

I was thinking simply put a piece of clear hose over the drain hole, turn out the screw, hold the tube beside the carb body and see where it levels at?... Sound legit?

  2. Is there a particular reason why you think the float level might be wrong?
