GPX handlebar converter and generic indicators

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by outtalive, Jul 29, 2005.

  1. After an unfortunate driveway drop the GPX has gone temporarily front fairing-less till i've finished the repair job. The funny thing is, without the front fairing and screen, but still with the underbelly fairing the GPX is looking pretty beastly and has got me thinking about giving it a touchup and a bit of a streetfightification.

On the list of things to do:

-Paint exhaust tubes matt black (leave the can silver)
    -Put new mesh over radiator
-Add a carbon fibre look frame to fill the gab between belly pan and petrol tank
    -Add fork-mount indicators
-Convert bars to moto X style (see http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/scart/html/64.html)
    -Add bar mount mirrors

All of this I'm pretty confident can be done for low cost and more or less DIY. The only issue I'm having is tracking down cheap, generic indicators and a cheap handlebar conversion kit. Any ideas where I might find them?

P.S. Will add pics soon of "before shot" and my predicted "after shot" (photoshopped).
