  1. Hi everybody,

I've finally got all my gear together and this saturday I collect my bike - a Kawasaki GPz500. Since I've not riden anything since getting my "L"s late last year I'm going to trailer the bike home.

Once home I'm going to lay out the MOST test in my yard (big yard) and start practicing for my booking on 12 Sept.

As Big Kev would say - "I'm excited"!

  2. Congrats on the bike!

Thats a long lay off between getting your Ls and your first ride. Good luck with it! :)
  3. Good to see some people putting in the effort to become really safe riders by practicing.

Not too many around, good job.
  4. lol I thought you were being sarcastic cos he's had his license for months without practicing...but now I see what you're getting at

OP - congrats mate - let the fun begin!!!
  5. Thanks for the encouragement - really appreciate it.

Hired a trailer ($52 for 6 hours) and bought the bike home. Had some trouble getting it up on the center stand but got there eventually.

Doing a full service on it tomorrow to lear where / how everthing is.

  6. Once you get the right technique its actually easy, I do it one handed.
  7. um...okay...what?
