I find that Hayabusa riders tend to be a little weak-of-heart when the'Bird hits 300, and tend to back off...

No, of course not, he was concentrating so hard on riding safely and responsibly that he wasn't watching the speedo - the pillion on the back was doing that for him - till it hit 171, then she held on and tucked her head down, and SLAPPED HIM when he was below the speed limit again!!
