Golfing dilemma...

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by MREVOX, Dec 30, 2009.

  1. So, dilemma... You're going to the golf course tomorrow, but you only own a motorbike. How to get the clubs there?

As I see it, there are a few options:

    1. Hire clubs at the golf course
    2. Have a friend pick you up in their car and put the clubs in the boot
    3. Get a taxi there

    4. Sling your golf bag over your back, and ride to the course with the bag hanging over the side of the bike... inches away from the road surface.

I took this photo driving on the M5 at about 7am this morning... couldn't believe it really. And because it wasn't dangerous enough already, he decided to wear a t-shirt.
  2. respect. *
  3. Maximum....
  4. I'd like to see him try that with a surfboard.
  5. I didn't realise golfing and motorcycling were compatible pastimes. :?

Good on him for bringing excitement to an otherwise beige activity. :cheeky:
  6. Is he heading up the Putter Road?

    yuk yuk yuk
  7. i've seen many bikes with surfboard racks carrying boards here in manly.

this one looks very safely done for indonesia though, lol.

  8. .. all sorts of puns about driving spring to mind .
  9. I stick mine in a carry bag and lay them across the top of the panniers, then tie them down with an occy strap on either side. Too easy.

  10. Boom Boom
  11. G'day everyone,...

SO the best solution would be to have one of those hand drawn golf bag buggy's,. Just tie it to the back of the bike and ride there!

    Dr Who?
