GN250 Install Pod Filter

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by John Smith, Mar 20, 2014.

  1. Suzuki GN250 94

I've gone through a lot of forums but I couldn't find any that explained how they replaced the box foam filter with a pod filter.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

There is a tube coming out of the engine into the box. What happens to this tube when you add a pod filter?

Do you guys have any recommendation on the brand/type of pod filter?

  2. Put an extension on the tube and run it down near the swingarm, it's just the engine breather, but that would be the least of your problems, be prepared for the joy's of rejetting you carby.
It will take time to find the correct main jet size and needle position.
Don't buy cheap pod's, next best thing to useless, K & N are fine.
