Girls Track Day - Broadford, Friday 13th July

    The time has come again, after much success in march, the next girls track
    day is just around the corner. This is a great oppurtunity to have a whiz around the track. From beginners to advanced, cruisers to racers everyone is welcome and I encourage all girls, even if you have no aspiration to race the experiance is one that you wont forget....details as follows

    Girls Only Track Day in July at Broadford

    THE NEXT Girls Only Track Day will be held at Broadford's State Motorcycle Complex on Friday, July 13.

    Following the success of the Girls Only Track Day in March also at Broadford, where 48 ladies attended. Two more track days have been booked so far for the second-half of 2012.

    The next day will be Friday, July 13 and Entries are now open.

    Motorcycling Victoria are excited to be involved and work with those currently involved to make the day even bigger and better

    "Jessica Watkins has been instrumental with getting the days off the ground and Jess and her team should be highly commended with the success and growth of the days so far," remarked Peta Thomas Manager of the Female Participation Program at Motorcycling Victoria.

    "With Motorcycling Victoria now getting involved, we are hoping to continue to grow and develop the day to be a permanent fixture for the future of women and motorcycling in Victoria."

    The day is an opportunity to encourage women of all ages and abilities to get out there and give road racing a go.

    Even those who haven’t been on a track before mums, daughter’s, partners this is your chance to bring your bike out and have a go yourself.

    For those who don’t have a bike but would still like a ride on the wild side members of HMRAV and the SCRCV will be on hand with sidecars for those who would like to have a go at swinging.

    Experienced riders and passengers will be there to give you advice and tuition.

    It's a real thrill and something that everyone should have a go at. The entry fee for this is being offered at a discounted price of $40. Credit Card and EFT facilities will not be available on the day so please bring cash, cheque or money order if you are intending to pay on the day.

    From those who will be out on their bike and want to have a go swinging there is no additional price to the entry fee.

    Full leathers (either a one piece or 2 piece suit) that zip together are a must.

    Yvonne Barker from Girl Rider will also be there on the day with a preview of new release products that will be on sale at the 2012 Australian Motorcycle Expo in Melbourne.

    Rider Entry Fee $80 (inclusive of MA rider levy)

    Swinging Only $40 (inclusive of MA rider levy)

    One Day Licence $20 or MV Annual Recreational Licence that cost $85.50*

    Lunch (Optional) $10

    *For those who attend 4 or more practice/club days per year you may be interested in a MV Annual Recreational licence.

    A Recreation Licence entitles you to compete in any recreational (i.e. club ride day, practice day etc.) event permitted by Motorcycling Australia or Motorcycling Victoria.
