Just got home from the Gippy toy run. Organised by the local Ulysses and a couple of different bike clubs, we had somwhere between 600-800 riders and pillions turning out. It started off at Traralgon and with the co-operation of local police we had an uninterupted run over to Moe's Old Gippstown heritage park where the riders dropped off their presents to the Salvos and St Vinnies. Weather was perfect, with riders on bikes of all different makes, models, types and vintages filling the Princes Freeway for a couple of kays. Not sure how much was donated, value-wise but each year it's in the tens of thousands. Not bad for a regional gathering.
