Getting rid of old rubbish

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' at netrider.net.au started by Rose, Nov 15, 2014.

  1. We're cleaning out the garage tomorrow and it's full of old rubbish bits of motorcycle parts. Whereabouts in Sydney can we go to get rid of them? I'm assuming we can't just drop them off at the local tip. Anything remotely usable has been scavenged so we are talking real rubbish here. Just need to get rid of it all.
    Any information gratefully received!
    Thanks
    Rose

  2. metal stuff can go to metal recycler/scrappy. batteries and oil to the tip for recycling (resource centres or whatever they call them now).
plastic bits can go to tip for landfill, or in your red bin

what else? tyres can be taken to some tips for recycling, for a cost, or tyre places may take them for a couple of $ each

  3. Thanks Oldcorollas. There's a place at Villawood also that takes this kind of stuff.
