Gear shifting

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' at netrider.net.au started by tonee, Jun 14, 2009.

  1. Besides from using the clutch to get the bike rolling, is it the clutch still required for the rest of the gears? I've heard bits and pieces that you don't need to engage the clutch when shifting up and sometimes down.
I know its possible and i've done it accidently before but will it do any harm to the bike?

    Cheers

  2. Do a search on clutchless shifting and you will see that this has been answered many times before.
