Galston Gorge - New Cameras?

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by ralph, Nov 8, 2011.

  1. I havent riden through Galston Gorge for a while, but went through it yesterday. On the way back from Old Pac Run, on entry to the gorge looked like there were new cameras being put up, 2 sets, forward and rear facing on top of each other. No Signs. Not sure if it is a noise pollution camera or speed camera.

Not sure if this is the right forum, happy for it to be redirected.

  2. It's for people disobeying the length of vehicle.
  3. Yep truck cameras, courtesy of Ray Hadley
  4. Apparently though utes with trailers can go through due to numerous complaints from locals.

    Note Apparently.
  5. Thanks for the confirmation - I saw these at the last possible moment and thought I had blown it. *wipes forehead*
  6. It's not only for trucks, vehicles up to 7.5m is the requirement of going through the gorge.

So you will still see the grey nomads with shorter caravans jackknifing there....
