Discussion in 'Stolen Bike Register' at netrider.net.au started by Mr Flibble, Oct 9, 2009.

  1. Just passing on an email I received. I don't know the people involved, but it's such a distinctive bike I thought you never know, someone here may have seen it....

Hi guys, maybe you can pass this around to your bikie mates.

Excuse the generic email, but this circa 1918 Triumph racer has this weekend been stolen from a locked garage in metropolitan Adelaide.

It is the bike of Ian Corlett, who passed away earlier this year. His widow and family are quite distraught as you can imagine. The restoration of this bike by Ian was a labour of love over a 10 year period and had been used at all suitable opportunities. It's last outing being the parde laps at Clipsal 500 around the street circuit of Adelaide.

Any info leading to the finding of same most appreciated

  2. That's so sad, I remember photographing it and watching it roar around the track.

Was that the one that broke down a couple of times?
