Front brake piston

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by feriant, Jun 5, 2005.

  1. hi guyss,

my lil across having problem with the front brake now! since the rear brake disc been slightly bent and always make the freaking squeking noise all the time, i've been using the front brake as my primary brake all these time.
on last wednesday the front disc brake pad was actually felt off from the place ;(
i managed to get on tools and fix it and i got it back to the place now.
actually the brake doesnt work properly now, i notice once the piston push the pad againts the disc it actually stick to the disc, so seems like the brake pad is grapping the disc.
is the brake pads mean to push back to the original place after the piston push them againts the disc?
any suggestion how to fix it?

    thanks heaps guyzz!!

  2. ...replace the pad if it's too thin..
