Ok guys generally i won't ask this sort of question on here, but it's been on my mind for a while now. :? I have a friend who was talking about getting there license, but i wonder if all people should ride. I know it takes a certain type of person to ride anyway, but some reason i just feel a bit concerned about this friend riding. Probably for the reason when i met them they weren't into bikes and i got the feeling they had a dislike for them. Since then i have got my bike and they have heard alot of the good tales/stories you get from riding (and also the bad, ie they also knows lenna and has seen what can happen). After lenna's accident i have changed my mind on pointing out the good points of riding to people (espiscally those looking to get their license) not in a way to say you shouldn't but be aware of what could happen and i know i have changed my tune to this friend, in going from saying it if wonderful to ride (and i still enjoy it) to things can and do go wrong. I have now mentioned this a few times to them, that bikes are dangerous, could you live with the worse case outcome etc.... and they are still keen to go ahead with it.... Now they are really getting close to booking in for it, i just wonder if maybe i should again say something to try and persuade them away from it? What should i do? :?
