Freshen up

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' started by RussellDP, Oct 7, 2015.

  1. In anticipation of a return trip to Seymour to meet up with my brother (who rides an XVS650), I decided that the bike should have a service, as having bought a second hand Hyosung I had no idea what the previous service history was.

New oil and filter (damned smallest oil filter I've ever seen), Repsol 10w40 oil, new fuel filter, checked the air filter (almost new) and a new set of plugs.

Off for a quick ride to the car wash, and then to the servo for its first fill of 98 octane unleaded.

Been getting around 5 litres per 100 km around town, will be interesting to see any benefits from seeeter running and better fuel.

Bring on the first long (ish) ride now.
