fork seals

  1. just wondering how much it will cost to get the fork seals done ?? just a ball park figure .......... for a cbr250RR

    Assuming it is just seals, no rust requiring hard chroming of the stanchions, should be no more than a couple of hundred bucks including the oil.

  4. i got quoted $140 labour plus oil and seals for my zzr250, so i bought the seals for $35 genuine kwaka and did them myself. werent as hard as i thoguht.

  5. Well under $200 with seals and oil.

    It's not too hard a job but it can get complicated if the bike won't co-operate: don't do it unless you have done some easier maintenance jobs first.

  6. thanks anyway, i was going to buy a cbr250rr which needed fork seals, but i bought a different bike

  7. on my gpx it was done last weekend in castlehill,

    seals 19 bucks
    oil, 750 ml's 12 bucks

    that was for the 2 front seals, labour was i dunno as it was part of a major service
