  1. Ford’s Global VP/Marketing and Sales, Jim Farley, said something both sinister and obvious during a panel discussion about data privacy today at CES, the big electronics trade show in Las Vegas.
    Because of the GPS units installed in Ford vehicles, Ford knows when its drivers are speeding, and where they are while they’re doing it.

  5. Just how would a 'sports venue' know how much of that 'traffic' is going to stop at 'their venue'? Really. Unless the venue happens to be in the middle of nowhere, there is no way a venue could possibly know. Plus, didn't he claim that they don't give out this info to anybody? Yes, well.

    Btw: Wouldn't ticket sales be a better indicator of likely parking demand?
  6. thats a particularly dumb ass thing to say in the states.... freedom and privacy and all that... gobsmacked. it's obvious you can go a long way in marketing based on knowing nothing, he must have some dirt on henry.
