for the REAL nerds...

1. what do you get when you cross a duck and a hippo?

2. Hmm...i got it, does that make me a nerd? No it doesnt, because it took me a while to pronounce it :p
3. Being merely a geek and not a nerd, I don't get it....and it frustrates the hell out of me :)
4. I get the sin theta bit, and there might be a hypotenuse reference in there somewhere but otherwise it's all Greek to me  .
5. :?

That's a rotten joke! Just the way I like them
6. Hmm...I think an explanation is forthcoming... :?
7. you made me remember 3u maths
8. It should probably be │hippopotamus││duck│sin(theta)

Now THAT's nerdy  Correct me if I'm wrong though, I suck at maths.
9. I was about to say it should be the magnitudes :)
10. Very good. Shouldn't that be dot product.
otherwise, it'd be HxD

i j k
H(i) H(j) H(k)
D(i) D(j) D(k)

or maybe I'm looking to much into it. :p
11. rs, HXD would be the
i j k
H(i) H(j) H(k)
D(i) D(j) D(k)
but when you evaluate that geometrically, you get an animal that is mutually orthogonal to the hippopotamus and the duck. that has magnitude |H||D|sinTheta
12. Which begs the question, what would the mutually orthogonal representation of a hippo and duck look like... :p
13. hilarious cuz we're doing vectors right now :D
14. Vic.
15. :p
16. WTF! I still don't get it...

Nerds are fcuken weird
17. I thought a Nerd was a Geek but with a much lower IQ
