Footpeg arrangement

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by theiceman, Mar 13, 2009.

  1. G'day all. Can anyone tell me whether the ER-6N or ER-6F foot peg arrangement is the same as the KLR 650. Thanks, theiceman

  3. Thanks 2wheelsagain. Being a bit lazy I should have explained more. I'm looking at motorrad website for a piece that will 'extend' my gear lever. They say if the piece fits Er-6N and Er-6F it will fit KLR 650. There is one promoted as fitting the ER's but before purchasing I hoped someone might be clued up as to whether the gear lever, casing and pegs are the same. It might be more of a clearance issue than anything

  4. PS. But shit they're almost identical. How much faster over the quarter is the KLR?

  5. It would depend on whether or not the spline is the same.
