  1. Received this email from a mate.
Nickers, how's your gopro going? A view of a fly-by from the cockpit perhaps brother?

"This is mainly for the guys, but the girls may like it...
The first 10 seconds of the video clip shows a scene from the Top Gun movie
when Tom Cruise does a fly-by of the control tower.

The rest shows actual low pass fly-bys.

Pay attention to the last one.
It happened during a Blue Angels event over San Francisco ...
It was the pilots' last show and he had nothing to lose.
Many of the boats lost windows to the sonic blast. Notice the sound barrier at the planes tail!
Some of these planes were probably no more than 10 feet off the ground."

I'm going to shove it on facebook.
  4. Sorry, yeah it was number 3. incredible :D
  5. Yeah every time I see that guy just stand there I think that it's a case of "if it hits me I'm not going to get injured, it'll kill me quick so it's not going to hurt. There's no point in flinching"
But how hard would it be to just stand there? Nerves of steel.
  6. nah not nerves of steel - elephant size balls more like it LOL
  7. true true

(I had originally written balls of steel funny enough)
  8. No: 3 has titanium nuts!

  10. good to see where peoples taxes go :)
  11. No 3 has unobtanium nuts

  12. yeah to one of humans most important need.....

Some people have all the luck and best jobs....!
  13. That last 1 is what i wish 1 of our Aussie pilots would do when they do the grand final bathurst or formula flyby's each year
  14. Some of them look to be in combat zones so would be flying low for a reason (training or a mission)
