Flooding @ Sale Pix

    Don't know how some people on land will recover.

  2. hmmm 1990 all over again? It reminds me of the '71 floods; I think they were then, we got stuck near the caravan park in dad's old landrover, a truck pulled us out. Big thrills for a 5 year old, mum wasn't too happy, poor dad. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

    Mum at Loch Sport reckon it was like a solid sheet of water falling from the sky. :shock:

  5. Latrobe Valley Gippsland is my "home". My folks are in Traralgon, and they're telling me that the back left corner of their 5acres is underwater, where 3 other properties meet in a "depression/undulation". Parts of Traralgon are inundated as well.

    On the positive side, my dad's dam is full - first time in a loooong time.

    I hope all those impacted negatively get back on their feet soon.

    I read something this morning that was talking about Lakesentrance being in strife if the river water running into the lakes can't get out the entrance...


    Mother nature doesn't know whether she's Arthur or Martha at the moment!
