Fitting Vance and Hines Quiet Baffles

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by akaluke, Sep 22, 2009.

  1. Anyone fitted Vance and Hines Quiet Baffles?

I've just received mine for my Short Shots and was expecting some instructions but nothing.

I'm guessing I need to remove the existing baffles but can't see how to do it.
Once I remove the existing baffles, I guess it'll be clear how to install the new ones.

    Anyone fitted these before?

    I'm incredible un-mechanical.
  2. Gunna feel like a dick taking it in to a mechanic...Curse of the unco newbie.
  3. I have them in mine and they just screw in if I remember correctly, sorry was a while ago.. but there wasn't much to it.. screwed the old baffles out and screwed the new ones in..

I will have another look when I get home, I want to repack them soon anyway in the hope of making it quieter again.
