Finally joined the fold

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' started by tjongdy, May 26, 2008.

  1. I finally got a bike and picked it up last night,
Its a Suzuki GSF250V (with thanks to jdimitri). Pretty daunting on the first ride since my learners course in March, but it was a nice long ride back home to Narre Warren from Caulfield.

Stalled it many many time in the first 10 mins of riding but its better now, but there is still heaps of practicing required, especially slow speed stuff.

I haven't taken any pics of my own, but here's one taken by jdimitri.

Hope to see some of you on the road!

  2. Awesome bike!!!

    Welcome
  3. Good choice of bike.
You should get the hang of it eventually, the bandit is a fairly forgiving bike to learn on - of course it also has plenty of potential once you learn how to ride it well through corners ;).
  4. Congrats !!
    Neat looking bike
  5. Congrats on the bike! looks the treat, was considering them before i picked up mine. dun worry about stalling, do it all the time

if you wanna go for a ride, shoot me over a PM.
  6. Good on ya dude , that's a good bike to learn on. :)
