Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by Lazy Libran, Jun 30, 2011.

  1. Well as the title says 'Fill your garage with 8 bikes' (Suggested by the owner of ONLY 2 bikes akaluke), if money was no objection - what would your 8 bikes be? You can include your current bike if you want.

  17. Geez, initially I thought, "Well, it'll just be 8 different Ducatis" & it could have been, but here goes:

    1. The latest fast thing sport, that'd be replaced every year or two, let say an S1000RR for this year. Then an MV Agusta 675 F3, then, well, you get the point.

    2. MH900. Not the first version, the second, slightly more livable version. I grew up on the back of one of these, one of my earliest motorcycling memories are my father starting it with NO pipes! :tantrum:

    3. 916 SPS. First of a good thing. 'Nuff said.

4.A crazy motard. Don't care which one, but one that requires a rebuild every 2 hours, holds 500mls of oil, revs to 10K & weighs 120kg.

    5. A Guzzi. Probably a Le Mans, probably cafe'd.

    6. Something for touring on... maybe a Tiger 1050... No, a ZX14. or a Busa. It'll need to do the triple ton, probably a 99 busa.

    7. SR500, Greivous Angel style for when I feel like being a boy racer :)

    8. A Harley. But not a VROD, not a Sportster... Not really a Harley either, a Norvin. :)

    9. Oh, right... um.

I could probably replace all of those with a good all rounder like the Street Triple & be just as happy... but this is a fantasy right?
  18. 1) New ducati supersports, or 1198 Corse if not released
    2) Ducati Diavel
    3) Aprilia Tuono V4R Factory
    4) Dues Ex Harley flat tracker
    5) Dues Ex triumph bobber
    6) Honda VFR1200
    7) Honda CR500
    8) My old z50
  19. KTM 950SM
    Ducati Multistrada
    Triumph Speed Triple
    Triumph Daytona 675R
    KTM 640 Adventure
    Ducati Sport 1000
    Yamaha Vmax (the old one)
    Laverda 750SFC

But thinking about it, for me the SM does 90% of what all the others do... except maybe the Laverda.
