Fender eliminator and water spray

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by Trev, Dec 6, 2011.

  1. Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has installed a Fender eliminator kit on their road bike and can tell me if they get drenched from water spray up your back if the surface is wet.

I ride a Ninja 650 and am thinking of gettin rid of that massive ugly bastard that comes with it.
  2. nope.
but tail light, indicators, number plate light, need to be wiped clean occasionally

remove the front fender though, and things get interesting in the wet
  3. that massive ugly bastard is there to stop roadside kittens from being sucked under your wheel.
just, so long as you are aware, it does actually have a purpose. need to consider that before removing it.
at night when trying to sleep, their furry little faces haunt me
