Fairing replacements - 2004 YZF-R6

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by Sterence89, Jul 3, 2012.

  1. Hi all,

I have a 2004 R6 which I love to bits, however, I had an unfortunate incident taking it down off the race stand and one of the fairings has taken a hit..

We all know fairings cost a heap to replace, but getting them from the US is obviously a lot cheaper. My question is whether or not the fairings are likely to be different on a US model or if they're the same?

Any light anyone can shed on the matter would be most appreciated.
  2. I've a 2008 Honda CBR600RR and I've bought oem fairing parts from the USA and do they've fitted fine.

Let me know if you find a good site. I previously used cycle-parts. com
  3. Awesome, thanks heaps!

I've been using servicehonda. com - Good site with parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki... Worth checking out!
