F1 race track open

Discussion in 'Roads, Touring, Journeys, and Travel' at netrider.net.au started by PooFace, Mar 7, 2016.

  1. Went for a ride around St Kilda on Saturday night with a bunch of mates and found out the F1 track is open and mostly set up for the weekend.

If you're in the area go check it out and do a few laps as it was heaps of fun riding around with all the race fencing up and gravel traps set up.

We were riding kinda slow because we are noobs and some super sport bikes went flying passed us lol.

  2. It's always open, but yeah, it's pretty cool when they put the stands up. I'd advise not to speed though, very high chance you will get done. So it gets pretty old pretty quick doing 40km/h.

Much more fun doing it on a bicycle and beating the cars around the place, haha.
