Extend Learner Permit?

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' at netrider.net.au started by Booki, Jul 23, 2009.

  1. Gday guys, just wondering if its possible to extend your learner permit without having to retake the test again?
as it was expensive and i can't sit for my full licence due to having lost mine and i won't have it for the 3 month peroid before i can sit it...

Is it possible if so how do i call?

    thanks in advance everyone

  2. Ghostbusters. A similar question was asked at my licence exam (someone's Ls ran out the following day). We were advised that you'd have to do the Ls again and can't extend them. Ask Vicroads but I'm afraid you'll have to do your Ls again.

  4. Ah,.......dammit.

Because i got my letter form armstrong saying that im elligable for taking my full licence, but well...apparantly you need to have had your learners for a consecutive peroid of 3 months. And i fall just short of that :(

how strict are they inforcing that? Doesn't hurt to ask.
  5. Fifteen months? Mine is 12... did it change?
  6. when i was doing my l's
the guy at ride-tek told us all differnet stories
and that so many people miss out cause they leave it to the last minute
    some people to the day

how did you loose your license btw?
  7. Completely and utterly 100%.

Yes, it used to be 12 with an option to extend to 15. Now it's just 15.
