Evening all - n00b alert!

Discussion in 'Welcome Lounge' started by gusthemus, Sep 3, 2008.

  1. Evening all, my name is Gus & I'm 32. I'm going for my learners on the 14th of this month & then plan on getting a bike soon after. I actually got my L plates back when I was 18 or 19 but never took it any further.

Glad to be a part of the community!
  2. Welcome to the community buddy. Goodluck with ur L's and see u on the roads soon. Cheers JB
  3. Welcome Gus.

Good luck with the L's. And this time when you get them use them.
  4. Big Netrider welcome. :biker:

    Hoorahh!

Glad to have you alongside Comrade.
What ride are you going to get then? :-k

  5. Hi Gus,
I did the same as you - got my Ls when I was about 19 and did nothing really with them. This time got my L's a couple of weeks ago (at 38) and got my bike that week - been riding nearly everyday since  Good luck for the 14th
  6. Hi Gus,
Good onya mate for restarting the path to enlightenment
    Don't stop now
  7. Welcome to Netrider :).
  8. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm busy doing a massive amount of research into what bike I might get once I've got my license. Now that the LAMS thing is in here in Vic, I've got a few more options. I'm a fairly big guy so I'm thinking something more than the standard 250cc option. I will mostly be commuting.
