N/A | National England - Riders cleared of joint venture death

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by Ljiljan, Jan 7, 2012.

  1. It has been mentioned that [in UK] groups of riders and particularly the lead rider can get the equivalent fine of a following rider due to the rubber band effect in action. Naturally, it seems, the extension of this is in the case of a death of a rider.

Thank God for common sense. More judges like him are needed - judges who actually have a brain. Unfortunately this law seems to still apply and needs to be examined on a case by case basis.

  2. Hooray for some common sense. You are responsible for your own decisions on how you ride.
  3. Good to see that although common sense isnt too common it still does exist.

Now hopefully they can work on getting rid of dumb laws like that
