Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by dewd, Apr 15, 2007.

  1. hey all i have a little situation ive been workn on for a few days and i really need some help please
    i have a honda xr2003 (1983)
and i cannot figure out how the electrics go back on it
i have the list of cables here

from magneto-black/red with a tag on it
    dark blue

    from rotor- light green

    from relay- 2 greens
    black/white
    black/red
    blue yellow

    and the kill- black/white
    black with green tag

the only thing on the bike electrical besides getting to bike to run is a front light but i don't need that anyways
if any one knows or has the faintest clue of how this goes together i would greatly appreciate it

  3. Dewd:
Introduce yourself nicely, there's a good lad.

Google works pretty well, it says Parts diagrams are at:
    http://www.cmsnl.com/partslist.php?model_id=7729

That'll get you started, if you need more than that then
you probably need to go buy a manual from a shop.

    Lesson one of mechanics I learned the hard way;
    when you pull something apart
make damn sure you don't lose bits,
or forget how it goes together.
YES you are allowed to make
notes on how it goes together.
