Dunlop GT501s/GPX250

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by gpxkermit250, Jan 12, 2009.

  1. Hi All, Ive searched through the many tyre threads so far and have found 2 tyres that I think will serve my GPX250 well.

THe GT301 or GT501 - From what I can tell the GT501 seems to be better rated.

I need some help though.. your input would be most appreciated..

    * Do they both fit the GPX250? I think the GT501 might be to big?
    * Which one is better (I dont mind spending bling to get the better tyre * I like twisties)
    * Where in Melbourne can I find these and or the best tyres for my bike. Any tips or good news storys on your retail/dealer experiences for GPX tyres would be great.

    Thanks, Greg

  2. I'm far from a fan of the Arrowmax (GT501), I know of a few others that would rather ride on teflon strips than Arrowmax's. Personally I'm a fan of BT45's on smaller bikes.
