Draggin's kevlar jumper. Good or just a gimmick?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by Marmitemonkey, Oct 29, 2007.

  1. Just wondering what the thoughts were on the kevlar jumpers from Draggin. Got friend who has a thin leather jacket and doesn't ride often enough to (apparently) justify a full thickness leather. I've suggested a kevlar thingy under the jacket.

Personally think a full leather's best, but does anyone know what the jumpers are like?
  2. no, but one could only assume that (as long as it is tucked in to something) if it doesnt roll up in a slide, it can only offer more protection than if you werent wearing one :)
  3. The K-shirt I think they are called. I use one in summer to beat the heat.
Don't know if anyone has "crash tested" one though. Certainly better than nothing.
