  1. Well today I learned one more thing NOT to do on the bike...

Was stinking hot today and I needed to run an errand on the bike, I put on all my gear and started sweating immediately :? so decided to unzip my jacket almost to the bottom so it was just hooked together.

I've putted around in 60 zones like this before, but this time was going on roads with higher speeds....as soon as I got up to about 90 km/hr my jacket filled up like a parachute and tried to rip me off the bike

Ok slight exaggeration there but it was still an uncomfortable feeling which I don't recommend.
  2. Also if you crashed, or were crashed into, your jacket would be just about useless as protection with it barely attached at the waist.

Glad you learnt your lesson the easy way
  3. Same thing happened to me yesterday on the way home from
Pnuts except I was doing double your speed

Best thing to do until you can stop to do up ya jacket is to tuck ya arms
into your side, & lean forward so ya chest is close to the tank.. That'll
stop ya jacket from filling up
