Don't get too smug!

Discussion in 'Your Near Misses - A Place to Vent' started by raven, Dec 6, 2013.

  1. There is a fair share of near misses, and then sometimes crashes, listed in this section.
Either as a fact finding search for helpful advice, or as a warning to others, NOT to do the same.

That's all good, helpful and wise.

Unfortunately it draws out the inevitable smug pr!ck, with their smug remarks, and underhanded motives.
Almost as if they've forgotten that they ride a bike, and are subject to the same laws of nature. Very few with the boast that these same laws haven't applied to them yet.

So to my point...if you can't say something, that may be helpful, informative, or a little supportive, without there being a 'tone', then do the right thing, and just STFU!

    I reckon that's fair enough...

  2. Good call Raven, sometimes we won't confront the facts of the incident and seek to blame everything except our own input. It is possible to be constructive and hopefully we all learn.

A rider who stops learning is a danger to themselves and all around them.
  3. Couldn't agree more.
