    I really enjoy these vintage bike roadtests by Don Hall as found on Youtube. The Vincent one is my favourite, especially regarding Don's point about how it pulls you up briskly through the speeds in a way that is rare today - a way which us SR riders still understand! :)

  2. I especially liked the 250 DUC road test. It bought back fond memories of my father on his old 500cc ducati when i was a kid.

    I'll have to check out more of Don's road tests on youtube

  3. I don't want to be pendantic, but if your dad rode a 500 1974 single, it was more likely a 450 single ( actually 436 cc ). I have heard of a 500 single using the top pot of a 900 twin.
