Doncaster to the CBD, peak hour morning traffic: How long?

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by grue, Jul 29, 2010.

  1. Any rough numbers on how long such a trip might be expected to take?

  2. It's like sport, you must never give in and always try your hardest, post up your personal best and set goals to try and beat that.

After all, you do ride a sport bike...

  3. 30/40 minutes for me, middleborough road to queen st. only filtering stopped traffic too. nothing naughty. :)
  4. Excellent, that's what I was hoping to hear.
  5. Hey this is Netrider. None of us ever do anything naughty.
  6. Come on your not trying hard enough. I live 2 km from middleborough rd freeway entrance I can get the ANZ building at docklands in 24 minutes, well I did the other day.

How long would it take to get from the crn of Boronia and Dorset rds to warrigal rd Glen Iris?
16 minutes today, gawd I love riding a filter machine!
  7. transit lane means it's only 5-7 mins on the freeway itself. the bit that takes time is filtering through hoddle st traffic and victoria road if you're going that way. i prefer (i think it's called) wellington rd (one after victoria that leads onto lonsdale). flows better.
  8. Impressive.
