Do I need to fix/hide this?

  1. This is the head of my CBR - note the shagged bearing race (and that from a low speed hit too).

    At the right you can see the bump stop has taken a fair hit. Given that this is strictly speaking frame damage, do I need to fix or hide it for registration purposes?


  2. No. They never check lock to lock at rego.
    You might want to fix it for the sake of your fingers though. I hate when they get squished between the bars and tank on full lock.
    Ten minutes with some emery cloth and the headstock will look new again.
    And some liquid steel would fill the bump stop in no time.
