Disabling a shortcut key in Outlook 2003

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by starlet, Sep 17, 2007.

  1. Anyone know how to disable the ALT-S (sends current mail) in Outlook?

    Cheers :)

  2. Start a new email
    Right click the "Send" button
    Left click "Customize"
With the "Customize" window still open, right click on the "Send" button again
Change "Name" from &Send to Send (no &)
    Close "Customize" window.

    Fixed.
  3. Why? Are you remapping ALT-S :?:
  4. stolen from http://bhandler.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!1pt1v0Q4vD8jSvNS4lqdAuug!303.entry

  5. I tried that this morning after googling it and it still sends :? Maybe this method doesn't work for '03?

I've noticed in the last few weeks when I have been flat out I accidently hit ALT-S before I'm finished...just want to get rid of it so it doesn't happen again.
