  2. Very simple...

ZX2R is a sales gimik... a sticker stuck on by the importer...

There are two models of the ZXR250 avalable in australia. the A model and the C model (there is a B model as well but very very rare and mostly sold as A model)

    ZXR250A (ZX 250 A1-A2 1989-1990
ZXR250A (ZX 250 B1-B2 1989-1990 assembled and sold in Tiwan?? does not have the Jap 40ps restriction)
    ZXR250C (ZX 250 C1-C5 1991-1995)
ZXR250C (ZX 250 D1 1991 assembled and sold in Tiwan?? does not have the Jap 40ps restriction)
